Meet Ryan

Ryan Crowther has an extensive resume of community involvement and placemaking in Everett in the last 12 years. He’s currently the Chair of the Everett Public Facilities District Board, is the Everett Public Schools Career Technical Education Advisory Committee Vice Chair, helped found Engage Everett in 2014 and supported the start of the Snohomish County Emerging Leaders program, helping to showcase professionals 40 and under in the region. Crowther was the Board Chair for Leadership Snohomish County in 2019/2020, the Mayor’s Economic Development Advisory Committee in 2018, received the Mayor’s Arts Award in 2016 and received the KSER Foundation Voice of the Community Award in 2013.

Crowther is most known for creating the Everett Music Initiative, a local non-profit that’s produced over 500 events since 2012, including Fisherman’s Village Music Festival and Music at the Marina (since 2021).

Crowther lives with his wife, youngest daughter and their two Labradors Buckley and Nelson in the Port Gardner neighborhood. He’s an avid outdoorsmen and loves fishing and hiking.
